Bidoup Nui Ba National Park is one of Vietnam’s most important biodiversity reserves, located in the Central Highlands near Đà Lạt. Established in 2004, the park covers more than 70,000 hectares and forms part of the UNESCO-recognized Langbiang Biosphere Reserve.
The park is named after its two highest peaks, Bidoup (2,287 m) and Nui Ba (2,167 m). Thanks to its high elevation and cool climate, it is home to rich montane forests, rare orchids, and many endemic plant species. Wildlife includes endangered animals such as the gray-shanked douc langur, Asiatic black bear, and various rare bird species, making it a key area for conservation and ecotourism.
Bidoup Nui Ba is also culturally significant, as it is inhabited by indigenous K’Ho communities who maintain traditional livelihoods and customs. Today, the park attracts visitors for trekking, birdwatching, and experiencing the unique highland ecosystem of southern Vietnam.
